The primary objective behind this proposal is to bring inspiration and amusement to the people of Seoul. The Dongdaemun Design Plaza & Park will constitute of a design museum, a multi-purpose park, a library and various educational facilities. The park will help Seoul transform into a greener city.

The design removes all the boundaries between nature and architecture by integrating the park and plaza, making it a perfect place for recreation and relaxation. The park has all the elements of a conventional Korean garden like pools, pebble beds, lotus ponds and bamboo groves.
