Gabriel Dishaw's funky Nike shoe is all junk
Aditi Justa | Sep 11 2009

Recycle, reduce and reuse is what we have been listening to for quite some time now. Gratifying the logo is Gabriel Dishaw this time. The artist who specializes in creating sculptures using junk like scrap metal and computer parts has lately unveiled his new creation, Nike-inspired Frankenstein Terminators junk art. The new shoe is made from recycled material.

Based on the Nike Terminator High, this cool pair incorporates wires and glue to hold it together. To enhance it some more, a hinged tongue and Nike logo’s on the tongue and shoe back has been affixed. Unlike the previous models, this one has a sole made from circuit boards. Dishaw deserves to be applauded for his efforts.
