Rome at the University of Pennsylvania proposes his Lightning Pack that notices the natural movement of the backpacks and converts it into electricity.
Keeping the amount of electricity generated directly proportional to the pace a wearer walks at, the contrivance ably stores it in a Li-ion battery for future use. Apart from keeping you powered up, it is also capable of relieving you from back strain. So, the next time you go hiking make sure you have your Lightning Pack swinging right behind.
